Willie from maintenance was quick in fixing one of the bedrooms light.

This was by far the worst living experience I have ever had. I lived in this complex for a total of 4 years. My first year was ok, but after that it was nothing but issues. Everything went downhill when a couple moved in above us. From then on it was nothing but loud fighting and yelling almost every other day and routinely getting woken up by loud slams, banging, and a woman screaming. After calling Law Enforcement multiple times and alerting the manager at the time (who now works at Aventine) nothing was done. We were told by the manager at the time, “If we only knew what was up there, we wouldn’t have an issue.” Excuse me?!! We know what is going on, a woman is being beaten. We weren’t the only ones that witnessed them fighting or heard this. We finally had enough and requested a transfer, but we were informed by the manager and regional manager they were going to charge us literally thousands of dollars which we couldn’t afford so we were forced to stay. After months of this and multiple emails and calls alerting them of this life threatening situation their only response was you have to pay the fees to get out of your lease or move. We continually called the police and requested wellness checks but found out in this state unless the victim confirms or reports the abuse there is nothing that can be done. By this time we were regularly seeing Law enforcement throughout the complex. Finally we bit the bullet and paid to transfer, thankfully a new regional manager took over who was great. He refunded some of the fees and we told him of the situation which he seemed to want to take care of. Shortly after transferring a man sadly died in the building we moved to and was left rotting for weeks. His neighbor who smelled him rotting had seen him regularly before, but after not seeing him for a few weeks alerted the police and complex but they did nothing until she finally put her foot down and had them come and smell the floor his apartment was on. Finally his body was removed but the whole floor smelled like a corpse for literally months! The apartment didn't even have the decency to tell us what happened and just said they were aware of the situation and made absolutely no attempt to cover the smell. We were also constantly told by staff how negligent leadership was and how mistreated they were, as tenants this was very disturbing to hear. There were good staff, but they would never stick around for very long. The only reason we moved here was because of the lack of breed restrictions and that was a huge challenge in finding somewhere new to live. I liked that they didn’t discriminate against pets but the large dogs could easily hop over the very short dog fence which happened to me and was almost a fight! They do poo-prints, but no one enforces it. When we left there was poop everywhere! This was the worst place I’ve ever lived., stay far away from this complex!! There were many more issues that are too numerous to list. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

We love our apartment and the whole team. Kayla, Madisyn, Matt, Madison, Brian, Zach, and Bradley. Sad to leave and wish I could transplant the entire community to Seattle with us. Thank you all for being so chill and amazing! If we ever move back to Asheville, we will 100% be calling River Stone at Long Shoals! Yours In Hospitality- The balcony with all the plants :)

Willie did a great job fixing my issue and was very friendly. I am happy with the quick response and the work performed by him. Thank you.

Willie did a fantastic job fixing and replacing the sink drain & trap. He did this all in a timely and efficient manner. We went through the entire process of replacing the drain due to broken seal and made sure it worked before leaving by running water through the new drain. He made sure to notify us of the process and what to lookout for in the event this issue still occurs. Overall, he did a great job and I feel confident this has fixed the issue.
