I resided in this community for four years. While the first year was acceptable, the remaining three years involved severe management negligence regarding safety and sanitation. Domestic Violence & Management Inaction: A couple moved in above my unit, resulting in near-daily loud fighting, screaming, and physical banging that repeatedly woke us up. Despite multiple calls to law enforcement and explicit reports to the property manager (who has since moved to Aventine), management refused to intervene. When we requested a transfer due to these safety concerns, the regional management team initially demanded thousands of dollars in fees, forcing us to remain in a hostile environment. A transfer was only made possible later when a new regional manager took over, showed empathy, and waived some of the fees. Severe Sanitation Negligence: After transferring to a new building, a resident tragically passed away in their apartment and was left undiscovered for weeks. Despite neighbors alerting staff to the welfare concern and the odor, management did not investigate until local authorities were involved. Following the body's removal, the entire floor smelled severely for months. Management offered no communication or updates to residents regarding remediation or odor control. Staff Turnover: On multiple occasions, property staff explicitly told residents about negligent leadership and poor working conditions. This high turnover meant that any helpful staff members rarely stayed long. Pet Facilities: The community lacks dog breed restrictions, which is helpful, but the dog park fence is too short. Large dogs can easily jump over it, which resulted in a near-altercation for my pet. Additionally, while the complex advertises a "Poo-Prints" DNA tracking policy, it is entirely unenforced, leaving the grounds heavily littered with waste.Given the consistent lack of response to life-safety issues, poor sanitation, and unhelpful regional leadership, I cannot recommend moving to this complex.

Riverstone at Long Shoals are on the ball every time I need anything serviced at my apartment. I always request Zakk because he’s really great with my dog, Kota and because I can always be sure what I’ve requested, gets completed.

I have been talking to Madison D. the leading agent at Riverstone and I have to say she is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! She has went above and beyond for me on every way. I have called her so many times and sometimes multiple times in a day and she always has the sweetest disposition every single time. She walked me through every step with excellent instruction and guidance and I can't tell you how smooth she made the process, it was literally unreal!!!!!! I am very , very pleased and I feel confident that I chose the right home and I am moving in sight unseen. Madison you sold me just by being you!!!!! You are a rare gem!!!!❤️

Staff is great. Super friendly and always a joy to speak with. They are all over any concerns I've approached them with. Maintenance is always working to keep up on the place. They really make you feel like every penney of rent is worth it. Over all very quite and peaceful. This is a rare instance where there pictures on the website actually don't do the place justice. Not that I want more neighbors but this place deserves its roses.

Reasonable rent price for the area, nice sized w bedroom apartment. Staff has been wonderful although they do change a lot. It is a little more noisy here due to construction going on with Phase 3 and also one entrance is blocked off, but understandable. So far any issues have been fixed quickly and staff is good about followup. Im hoping they fix the outdoor flickering street light soon. It's a risk to those of us with seizure vulnerability
